Would this be an appropriate project for an advanced HS or college government or civics class? How could the project be simplified for groups of activist or potential activist adults, say, in a church or synagogue social action setting? They might not have time to do the whole project.

Your analyses of detention data, especially your ongoing reporting on varying ratios of criminal/non-criminal populations from one area to another are valuable as basic indicators of ICE detention behavior in different areas of the country. I think that if there were a way to systematically secure information from detainees about the circumstances of their detention it would be valuable as part of monitoring the extent and types of DHS/ICE violations of legal guidelines. I am particularly interested in tracking improper use by DHS of personally-identifiable information from administrative records (both state and federal) Detainees may have valuable information for us to better assess the magnitude of this problem
