All nonsense. Given the disparity between Immigration Judges, some approving upwards of 98% of asylum cases with the nationwide norm, 42% approval rate, shows that the IJ is the determining factor in asylum claims. Furthermore, lawyer coaching is the only way to get asylum unless you have a public case fleeing a known dictatorship, think those fleeing the Soviet Union, the Eastern Bloc, and Red China. Those, like Mikhail Baryshnikov are the approvable claims, while those from democratic nations like Colombia and Mexico claiming persecution or being a victim of a crime are clearly immediately deniable.
