Please keep pushing your real (evidence based) data out to the media. People need to hear real data. It can combat fake news. It makes a difference! Independent Journalists need your data!

John Oliver always does a deep-dive on the topics he selects, so it’s awesome that he’s focusing on your exhaustive and excellent research. Congratulations!

Bravo👊🏽👊🏽 As always, a couple of questions. What about California’s arrest numbers for this period? I’m especially curious about the July numbers that would include the Glass House raids number of 357 undocumented immigrants arrested on July 10. Also, are unaccompanied minors included in arrest numbers? Now that my latest post has been uploaded, I’m looking forward to reviewing the ICE spreadsheets and your “in depth” reports.

I’ll try to pull those for you, I have a couple of the deadlines today but let me see what I can do!

I have gone through the arrests spreadsheet. I’ve come up with 314 give or take. 195 arrest location was Ven Gen area, which is Ventura County. 52 was Los Angeles Area Ops which is weird. 75 LA Gen Area and other ops which I can’t figure out. 53 Voluntary Deportation, but that figure is really rough. Now, I am tired and I hate Excel spreadsheets🤪

Your data and analysis is incredibly useful, thank you! I wonder if you have any insight into how to get more detailed information about who is being subject to these non-criminal arrests. E.g., How many have removal orders? How many entered within two years (and are therefore potentially subject to expedited removal)? How many arrests are in courts, asylum offices, district offices, etc.?
