Great reporting though on human scale, I wish the numbers were nonexistent. 💔 Congrats on your subscriber numbers👊🏼

I get it that the word criminal is not defined by offense in the current administration. Was the same language and vagueness used by the Biden administration? Were there more specifics on what kind of crime before Trump took over? Is there any data anywhere what crimes these people did or are being charged with? Traffic tickets perhaps? Being charged with crossing the border and labeling it a criminal offense? I know you’re leaving it up to us to figure it out but it’s a serious label.

The term criminal here is defined, it's just not elaborated upon in any way, ie we don't know the actual crimes. This has been how the data has been reported for many years, nothing unique to Trump II.

FWIW, like the link mentions, "ERO EL PASO CAMP EAST MONTANA" does appear to be what they're calling the new Ft. Bliss site, so unlike the Everglades camp it does appear to be showing up in the reports from the outset (more or less).

Do you have any idea about the magnitude of immigration detention via US Marshal Service? As you point out, these data you are reporting don’t include this category of detention. I believe the USMS will only detain those criminally charged. But that would include anyone charged with illegal entry, or any criminal misdemeanor, right? If a large number, would this materially affect the percentage of criminally charged or convicted in overall detention?
