Great news! Really encouraging to see.

As far as the refugee resettlement cap, I believe it's set by presidential proclamation, without Congressional approval. So theoretically if they hit the goal, Biden could adjust it upwards

I can attest that PRM is pushing the national resettlement agencies which are also pushing local resettlement agencies to increase capacity to get to the full 125,000. However, the program is wildly underfunded and not getting sufficient resources to meet the needs of arriving refugees. Housing costs are astronomical. The work needs proper funding to be done, especially to be done well.
